Your software is great and best of all, it saves us a lot of money since we don't have to pay for a commercial software. It has all what we need for our Mechanical Engineering courses where we ask students to program some design and analysis procedures. Thanks for making it available to everybody.

Back in Dec 2003, I had run into SciLab working for National Instruments in Michigan and mentioned this initiative to my boss and NI corporate.  It's nice to see that NI is taking some action in this regard thru' their partner, Styrel Tech.
It would help the user community to have viable choices such as SciLab and competition to Matlab Simulink.
