I was looking for a free alternative to Matlab ( Open source it is for me a philosophy of life) and I've found in Scilab a very powerful and easy tool. Thanks

Your Message Hi Scilab community,
I was using Scilab for several applications for OFDM based transmission reference systems at university and also during my work in industry. A while ago, I translated and widely rewrote the matlab code
to scilab, for to derive performance values for ASIC, high performance DSP and array processors. Since I don´t have acess to the scilab code anymore, I´m interested in similar code for Scilab. Has this already been translated by someone?

Great program. I just downloaded it and find it useful. I am still trying to fully understand all the programs capabilities. Thank you for providing a tool that is useful and free of cost. Wow.

Great software! Thank you for free offering this software. I hope you will follow in improvements and support for Scilab. I am recommending your software and wondre why Universities and Colleges don't use it more widely insteady of incredibly expensive Matlab. Maybe better advertisment (actively contact universities) would hugely increase your user base, and Scilab could benefit in many aspects like debugging and help in development of new modules, improvements, ... I would appreciate: - better help and better user friendliness (e.g. automatic suggesting of commands after typing of first few letters). - interactive graphs (like matlab or origin). Best regards!
