Many thanks indeed! I was greatful to find your project, otherwise I would have had to write my own code for the research I am doing. Certainly, I could not afford Matlab.

Dear Scilab Developers,
I've started to use Scilab many years ago. As far as I remember it was it was 1997. (At least my first post about using of Scilab was in this year... http://lists.debian.org/debian-user/1997/10/msg0
1255.html http://lists.debian.org/debian-user/1998/06/msg0
1562.html )
It was Scilab, which I have used for most calculations, when I prepared my PhD thesis, and some of associated publications, like http://www.ise.pw.edu.pl/~wzab/artykuly/KKTOiUE97.
algorytm.ps.gz
(yes, so it was really 1997, when I started to use Scilab) I'm still using it in my work (e.g. http://www.ise.pw.edu.pl/~wzab/artykuly/tcd_harm.p
df
), however I must say that due to the GPL incompatible license of Scilab, I'm gradually moving towards using of Python for DSP and other analysis... Many of my students have used Scilab when preparing their BSc and MSc theses in biomedical engineering.
Thank you very much for preparing such a nice package and making it freely available. -- Many thanks & best regards, Wojciech M. Zabolotny
