I am studying Chemical Engineering
Process Dynamics and Control Design. I use Scilab
as an alternative to Matlab I don't want to
spend the money for.

Scilab has helped me on developing powerful and flexible software
and has made my final work less heavy than i would ever expect
EEG analisys has been performed quicker and easier with Scilab than
Matlab.
Tnx..

Scilab is a really good program. Its features are very well compared to Matlab and it is even better since it is free. I can't believe how such a good piece of work could be free.I will use it to do some simulations in Electrical Eng.
Thank you very much for giving us the opportunity to have a very good mathematical tool for our research.
Congratulations and thanks again

You have done a great job, i cannot find any other simulation package for
fractal signal analysis as great as SCILAB..
KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.
A suggestion is that if you can also incorporate hard ware interfacing
in SCILAB , it will be of greater use to real time signal processing.
