Bonjour
Je trouve que Scilab est un excellent programme, mais que ses capacitées graphiques ne sont pas encore à la hauteur de matlab. Je voudrais savoir si il est prévu dans les prochaines versions d'utiliser Mesa/OpenGL pour les graphismes ?
merci

I was just looking around, and have you guys
considering doing the source packages in tar/bz2
format? Source code tends to compress better in
bzip2, and most recent tars will filter through
bzip2 automagically (tar xyf or tar xIf).
I haven't actually downloaded yet, but now that
I'm done griping, looks great! I've just got a
slow modem ;)

I haven't tried to do very much with the software yet, I haven't been able to reach the documentation ftp site to download the documentation.

2.5 for Windows 98 downloaded and installed very smoothly.
I am recommending it to friends for trials. ( I
recall that an earlier version for linux also
was pleasing. )
GREAT JOB! Keep up the good work.
I will pass along any contributions I might be
able to make.

I am MATLAB user for a long time and I can say that
SCILAB it is a great product, easy to use, great
toolboxes and free!!. Moreover, we can access the
source code and, by this way, to understand how
hard is to develop an application like SCILAB.
It is really a serious option for those doing
scientific/engineering computations and data
visualisation.
Congratulations!.
