To promote Scilab in Japan, a Scilab Toolbox Contest is organized for Japanese and no Japanese students living in Japan. The Contest starts now and the deadline is end of March 2006.

This event is organized by the French National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Control (INRIA) and the Japanese National Institute of Informatics (NII).

In addition, the following organizations give their patronage:
