GRASS is developed by a worldwide network of developers who continue to release new GRASS versions regularly. The main web site, the GRASS user and development mailing lists, and further lists, are hosted at OSGeo Foundation. The source code is maintained in a SVN server which is run along with the bug tracker (GRASS-trac). Our project is supported by numerous mirror sites.

  • The OGC Web Feature Service (WFS) is an interface allowing requests for geographical features across the web being highly interoperable. It uses the XML-based GML for data exchange. You can fetch above vector points geocoded via WFS into your WFS-capable GIS application.
  • The OGC Web Map Service (WMS) delivers rendered maps of spatially referenced data dynamically from geographic information. You can fetch above map as geocoded imagevia WMS into your WMS-capable GIS application.
