Your final lilo.conf file will look something like this: boot=/dev/hda delay=20 vga=normal root=/dev/hda1 read-only image=/vmlinuz2 label=linux image=/vmlinuz label=oldlinux After doing all this, you'll need to run "lilo" as root. This is very important! If you don't do this, the booting process won't work. Running "lilo" will give it an opportunity to update its boot map. |
