| A method of realizing SCADA system is proposed which is based on scientific
computation software Scilab. Developed at INRIA, Scilab has been developed for
system controlling and signal processing. It is freely distributed in source
code format.
Scilab’s scientific computation ability enables SCADA’s complicated control and
optimization be realized. Scilab is easily interfaced with C subprograms. This
allows the use of standardized packages and libraries in the interpreted
environment of Scilab. OPC, Mysql, Modbus and Industrial Ethernet modules can
be realized through DLL which is built by Visual Studio.
Based on SciSCADA toolbox, data can be easily acquired from Device. With it
optimization and control will be real time and on line instead of discrete.
