Octave 3.2.4 for Windows
========================

Most users should install Octave 3.2.4 using the .exe installer and
follow the instructions therein.

Due to a bug in the installation software, this might fail on computers
using certain locales. The archive (zip) version of mingw octave 3.2.4
is available here for such cases.

Unpack somewhere with no spaces in the path, "C:\", for example.

C:\Octave\3.2.4_gcc-4.4.0\bin\octave-3.2.4.exe

Will start Octave. 

Notepad++ is also included, though is now out of date.
A recent version from http://sf.net/projects/notepad-plus/ is recommended .
