This section will walk you through the set-up and use of the classic
UNIX printing system on Linux, sometimes called Berkeley LPD. There are
other systems available for Linux that are not covered here; see the
Resources section at the end of the tutorial for information on these.
Physically installing a printer is beyond the scope of this tutorial.
Once it's correctly hooked up, you'll want to install a print spooler
daemon so that machines on the network (including the one housing the
spooler) can send print jobs to the printer.
